VISIT THE MMC2015 WEBSITE FOR THE NEXT EVENT!

Plans for mmc2015 are well-advanced. It is building on the success of 2014 and, for the first time, will incorporate the ever-popular EMAG. Visit the website and see what we have planned.

TEM

The RMS Learning Zone will once again include the topic of Transmission Electron Microscopy. As in the emc2012 meeting, a short talk will cover the basics of imaging and analysis in the TEM and briefly outline some of the new developments such as aberration correction. Immediately after the talk, we will visit a TEM located in the Exhibition and the Learning Zone is grateful to Gatan and JEOL for making their equipment available to us.  There, we will conduct a miniature TEM session from sample insertion to image interpretation, and answer questions along the way. If want to explore topics in greater depth, there'll be a TEM expert in the Learning Zone at other times too. The TEM section of the Learning Zone is aimed at all new and not-so-new users of the TEM. Anyone who needs to understand more about the work of their TEM colleagues will also benefit from attending.

Download the app

We are very excited to announce that the mmc2014 conference app has now launched. The app provides lots of useful information on the event, both in the run up to and whilst there. It is available for Apple and Android mobile devices.
